Dennis L. Randall, Jr.
As Managing Director, Dennis is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing Insight’s office/R&D platform consisting of investment, renovation and ground-up developments as well as asset management operations.
Insight’s predecessor entity, Insight Development Partners, was founded by Dennis in June of 2004 to take advantage of real estate opportunities in the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. Since founding Insight, Dennis has partnered with other firms to acquire or develop over one million square feet of office and R&D space in northern and southern California.
Prior to founding Insight Development Partners, Dennis was Senior Director of Real Estate Development overseeing the Silicon Valley Region for Opus Group, one of the largest development firms in the United States. During his tenure with Opus he developed one million square feet of “Class A” office, R&D and industrial properties and was awarded Employee of the Year in 2001.
Dennis has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of real estate development, asset management, marketing, and leasing. Dennis’s career also includes tenures with Paragon Group, Cushman & Wakefield, and Prometheus Development. During his career he has acquired, entitled or developed over 2.5 million square feet of office, R&D and industrial projects and he has leased and/or sold over 3.5 million square feet a space with a total market value over $400 million.
Dennis holds a California Real Estate Brokers License and is a member of the Urban Land Institute, NAIOP and REIAC. He sits on the Board of Directors for the San Jose Downtown Association and is a founding member of the Downtown Committee for the Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce. Dennis is also a member of numerous feedback and selection committees for both the City of San Jose and the San Jose Redevelopment Agency. Dennis graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in Political Science.
John H. Pringle
As Managing Director, John is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing Insight’s multi-family investment, renovation and ground-up developments as well as asset management operations.
Prior to joining Insight, John was President of Los Angeles-based E&S Ring for more than a decade. During his tenure John was responsible for directing all company operations for this $2 Billion privately held firm, which operated a portfolio in California, Washington, Oregon and Nevada. John also directed the acquisition of over $400 Million in multifamily properties for the company. In addition to his investment and corporate duties, he headed the management operations for 10,000 multifamily units, including 2,500 apartments for a private investment company based in San Mateo, CA.
Under Mr. Pringle’s leadership, E&S Ring is now recognized as a technology leader for the size and scale of its operations and John is sought to give numerous public speaking engagements about industry best practices, technology implementation, and the maximization of data/video revenue streams for multifamily operations as well as design and development of new and renovated projects.
Prior to joining E&S Ring and relocating to Los Angeles from the Bay Area, John was COO and Principal of Ventana Property Services in Menlo Park, Vice President/Property Operations for AvalonBay Communities, Inc., one of the nation’s largest REITs, and Senior Vice President of Prometheus Development in San Mateo, California.
John has extensive experience in the design and management of high-density urban and suburban apartment communities for institutional investors, including distressed, undercapitalized assets that required recapitalization and operational turnaround tactics and has supervised the lease up and management teams for over 25 new development apartment communities and assisted Federal Realty Trust’s design and planning for its very successful and highly innovative mixed-use Santana Row project in San Jose as well as many others.
John is a graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He is a Past President of the California Apartment Association and is an active member of the National Multi-housing Council. He has served in a volunteer capacity in numerous industry organizations including the Board of Directors of the National Apartment Association. He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) with the Institute of Real Estate Management and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Matthew R. Love
As Managing Director, Matt manages Insight’s overall processes and strategies for the company’s office and multifamily platform. In this role, Matt is heavily involved in all aspects of the business including sourcing new acquisitions, entitlements, development, asset management, and capital markets.
Prior to joining Insight, Matt was Managing Director of Epoch Realty Capital, a firm that Matt founded in 2009. Epoch is a San Mateo based real estate investment and development firm focused on value add, opportunistic, and urban infill projects in the Silicon Valley and greater San Francisco Bay Area. While at Epoch, Matt was personally responsible for acquiring, renovating, or asset managing 320,000 SF of office projects throughout the Silicon Valley and San Francisco. Also during this period, Epoch successfully entitled numerous projects involving multi-family, office, and hotel/entertainment in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and San Jose.
Prior to forming Epoch Realty Capital, Matt was Senior Vice President at Foster Enterprises, the third generation company that developed Foster City, California in the 1960s. There, Matt reported directly to the General Partners and had responsibility for much of the firm’s investment, joint venture, and development portfolio, which included office investments and multi-family and single family development projects throughout Northern California.
During his career Matt has invested in, developed, and advised on 2.2 million square feet of commercial real estate with a gross value of $800 million, including more than 1,500 residential units (single and multi-family). Matt’s career also includes time spent as a Real Estate and Securities lawyer at Cooley and at Carr McClellan in Silicon Valley. Prior to his real estate and legal career, Matt served six years in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Intelligence Field and as an Embassy Guard, where he did extended tours in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia.
Matt received his law degree from the University of California, Hastings and his B.A. from the University of Nevada. Matt is a licensed attorney (inactive), a real estate broker, a member of the Urban Land Institute, a former registered lobbyist in the City of San Jose, and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
As Managing Director, Vincent is responsible for investor relations and sourcing capital for Insight’s residential and commercial projects. Through Marwood Assets Management, his wholly-owned asset and management firm, Vincent Woo has successfully completed real estate transactions totaling over $120 million, with a primary focused San Jose and the greater Silicon Valley. Vincent began his career as a successful technology entrepreneur, founding a variety of successful companies over the past two decades. These successes allowed him to parlay his ability to quickly scale businesses and investments to their full potential into a proven track record of real estate development and investing, and capital management. Focusing mainly on institutional-quality assets in the Western and Southwestern U.S., Vincent is proud to partner with some the best capital partners and service providers in the industry.
Prior to entering real estate, Mr. Woo was the Founder and President of Fast Repair LLC, a technology company established in 2002 in the South Bay, which serves the greater Bay Area. Fast Repair currently has multiple locations, positioned just around the corner from some of the most prestigious major tech and web companies, such as Apple and Google, which keeps the company up-to-date with the latest technological trends.
